Salmonbellies Volunteer Assistantships

The New Westminster Salmonbellies offer staff assistantship opportunities to college students in a number of areas.

The Salmonbellies Staff Assistant Program exposes college students to the practical job experiences of a career in professional sports. The program provides the necessary training opportunities to bridge the gap between college and the work place.

The Salmonbellies seek conscientious, dedicated, career oriented individuals who like to work and learn. Staff assistants are valued in the organization’s day-to-day operations and the rewards are mutual. Hours, duties and length of the staff assistant vary. Additional information regarding the staff assistant program is discussed in greater detail with those apprentices who are in final consideration for a position.

All correspondence should be emailed to the following address:

generalmanager@salmonbellies.com

New Westminster staff assistant candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Upper-level undergraduate students, graduate school students or recent college graduates looking for training to help reinforce their education.
  • College major or minor in an area related to the requested department.
  • Previous work and/or volunteer experience.
