Bellies opened up a 1-0 lead in the best of 7 semi final with a 12-8 convincing win in front of 1000 Bellies faithful fans at QPA.
Lead by rookie Goaltender Tyler Richards  39 saves on 47 shots performance, couple by two 5 point performances by Ilija Gajic (5a) and Whalley’s favorite son Cliff Smith’s (1g, 4a). Rookie sensation Jordan Mc Bride chipped in with 4 points on (2g,2a) while well done veteran Chris Gill added 3 points  with (2g,1a)
Bellies will try to make it 2-0 in the series when they Visit Victoria’s Bear Mountain Arena on Thursday August 7th.
