Bellies have stretched their 1st place lead to 6 points over the idle second place Adanacs with a 12-9 victory over the visiting Langley Thunder. Bellies were lead by Rookie sensation Jordan McBride's 5 points (5a) and Surrey resident Cliff Smith's 5 goal effort and Jamie Floris’s 3 point evening (1g,2a), while Tyler Crompton rounded out the scoring with 3 points (2g,1a)

Tyler Richards won his league leading 10th game of the season , saving 30 of 39 shots thrown his way by the 2-11 Thunder.

Next up for the 1st place Bellies is a visit to Bear Mountain Arena on Wednesday July 9th. Next Home game not until Thursday July 17th vs Nanaimo Timbermen at a special time of 7:00PM
