Coquitlam Adanacs came from behind with 38 seconds left on the clock to tie the Bellies and force overtime. No goals were scored in the overtime period , which left the front running Bellies with a league leading record of 12-1-1 with strangle hold on 1st Place. Bellies got off to a slow start falling behind 8-2 by the 5:09 mark of the second, after a short time out and switch of goaltenders, Rookie Ron Schibild came in and made some acrobatic saves stopping 33 of 37 shots the rest of the way. Schibilds performance reminiscent of one time Bellies Keeper Tootie Mclaughlin from the 1970's while also moving the ball up the floor in a timely fashion. Veteran Athan Iannucci was the Guitar Hero for the evening with a (3G 3A )evening while rookie Cliff Smith had a breakout evening similar to Drive thru clerk at McDonalds with (4G 2A) night.
