New Westminster Sr Salmonbellies trounced the visiting Victoria Shamrocks 13-5 in front of 1000 boisterous fans at Historic Queens Park Arena. Bellies are now a league leading 16-1 and in 1st place in the competitive WLA. Leading the way was rookie Jordan McBride with 7 points on(2g,5a) and Pistol Peter Morgan’s 6 points (5g,1a) Cliff Smith chipped in with 4 points (2g,2a) and a unanimous decision over Challenger Luke Wiles with a solid left to the chin and a flury of combinations that left the Victoria product throwing in the towel.
