In front of 2500 boisterous fans the Shamrocks and Bellies put on a great game of
lacrosse that featured great goals, outstanding saves, penalty kills and a couple of
bone crunching hits and a melee at the end of the game that will for sure make for
an interesting rematch on July 16th. The teams were tied after one at 3-3 , the Rocks
had the edge 8-6 after two and outscored 4-3 in the final frame to close the deal.
Leading scorers for the Bellies were, Rookie Sean Robinson with 1g, 3q, 4pts, Jordan
Mcbride had 3 a, and big Pete Morgan chipped in with 2 Goals. Bellies season record
fell to 4-2 good for 2nd place in the 2009 WLA Standings.
