 Bellies Sweep Aside A’s, go 8-0    

The New Westminster Salmonbellies extended their perfect record to 8-0 on Thursday night with a convincing 7-2 win over their cross town rivals, the Coquitlam Adanacs.  Leading the way scoring was Pete Morgan who bagged 3 goals and added 2 helpers.  “A-Train” Iannucci, the artist formerly known as Jon, added 4 dimes in the win.  Kyle Ross, Jordan Hall, Jamie Floris, and Christopher Kelly Gill rounded out the scoring, each turning on the red lamp once. Goaltender Matt Disher was very solid in allowing only 2 goals.  The hometown ‘Bellies dominated the game from the opening whistle, with only a stellar performance from Adanac keeper Dallas Eliuk, the games’ second star, keeping the score line as close as it was.
