 Bellies Start Season 3-0    

Bellies 3-0 after a hard fought road victory vs arch rival Coquitlam Adanacs 12-7. Led by another stellar performance in goal by Rookie Tyler Richards who stopped 39 shots of the 46 he faced, in his old stomping grounds on Poirer St. Ian Haweksbee led all scorers with a 6 point night (1g 5a) and Jamie Floris and veteran Chris Gill both had 5 point nights, Floris (3g,2a) Gill (2g,3a) . Nenad Gajoic had his best game of the season and showed strong leadership at both ends of the floor taking charge of this young emerging team , Gajic contributed on the score board as well with 4 points on (2g,2a) Meanwhile New Wests Powerplay was 3 for 8 and sits at second overall in the league scoring at a 44.44% of the time. The Short man unit leads the league with stopping oppositions Power Plays at a rate of 80.00% of the time.

Next up the Nanaimo Timbermen MAY 29TH at QPA, REMEMBER CHANGE of GAME TIME TO 7:00pm
