New Westminster Sr Salmonbellies capped off a very successful year with their 2008 Awards Banquet attended by over 100 Bellies faithful at the Westminster Club in downtown New West. Rookie Tyler walked away with 3 league awards and 2 Salmonbellies awards including Salmonbellies MVP.

 Bill Armstrong award for outstanding contributions to the Salmonbellies Club,  2008 winner  Jason Coolen, Steve Mah, Karie Farer, and Keith Johnson our Physiotherapist’s and Trainer’s

 Cliff Sepka Inspirational Award for the player contributing inspiration, leadership as well as sportsmanship to his fellow team mates. 2008 winner Tyler Crompton

Doug McRory award presented annually to the Salmonbellies Best Defensive Defenseman. 2008 winner Dave Morgan

Ab Brown Player of the year award for outstanding achievement in Leadership, Dedication and Sportsmanship. 2008 winner Chris Gill

New award this year….it is called the Salmonbellies 7th Man Award,  for the Salmonbellies  with the most Valuable Contribution and Hardwork in a supporting role. The 1st Winner of the Salmonbellies 7th Man Award goes to Bubba Westwood and Wade Dewolff

Ed Downey Memorial Award for the Salmonbellies MVP 2008 winner Tyler Richards.
