“Hodgy” came to the Bellies from the Burnaby Lakers via the Victoria Shamrocks and is a two time winner of the Gord Nicholson Trophy as the league’s top defenseman. He’s been responsible for 36 points in 35 games over his two seasons in New West. By day, he is a teacher and in winter, a member of the Washington Stealth.

 
What’s the best opportunity lacrosse has given you?
To have the chance to be paid to play the game I love. Coolest experience…playing in MSG in NY.
 
Besides the Salmonbellies, what’s the next best thing about New West?
Shaggy – nicest guy in New West.
 
Which move star would play you in a film about your life?
Justin Bieber in my early years, Ryan Gosling in my lacrosse years, and George Clooney in my later years.
