While “Ils” may be the most notorious member of the current Salmonbellies’ roster, he could also be called the heart. When not giving everything he has got on the floor, he is donating his time and energy to the community. He shares the same junior history as all of his brothers: as a member of the Burnaby Lakers he was a Minto Cup winner (twice.) He came to the Bellies with the second overall pick in the 2007 WLA Draft.

What’s the most embarrassing song on your iPod?
I like the Dixie Chicks, “Earls got to Die”.  Great tune.

 
What’s your pregame ritual?
I like being last out the dressing room for some reason, don’t know why.
