Bellies Acquire Goaltender Cam MacLeod from Shamrocks

by Paul Horn

The Salmonbellies have acquired another goaltender.  In a trade with the Victoria Shamrocks, the Bellies acquired goaltender Cam MacLeod for future considerations.  MacLeod is originally from Georgetown Ontario, but he will be known to local lacrosse fans after having played for Junior Adanacs in 2019, a team that went to the Minto Cup.  He has also played for the  St. Catherines Athletics, winners of the Iroquois Trophy (Ontario Junior Champions) in 2021, and the Edmonton Minors of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.  MacLeod is currently a back-up goaltender for the NLL's Panther City Lacrosse Club.

The Salmonbellies season starts May 25th.  Season tickets are on-sale now at salmonbellies.com
